OUR MARKET POSITIONNING

Planetinnov is a service provider which offers consulting , training and tools to take advantage of the power of social networks over the Internet. We help companies to understand how they can leverage Internet communities, identify risks and opportunities and implement actions in order to increase their value on this new medium.

Our methodology goes beyond communication as we do propose to use online communities to particpate in the added value chain at different levels :

  • Technological Development, R&D,
  • Services,
  • Marketing and sales,
  • HR,
We work in close relation with a network of consultants trained on our methodology and tools that give us a notional territory coverage. We also use our own tools but we can also integrate with external partners.

Our approach is driven by personal and enterprise respect at wide. We believe in the richness of all individuals, and we think that the companies that work in a win-win way, and with an ethical attitude are the ones that are more likely to benefi from the ongoing revolution of social networks.

We consider « crowd sourcing » and « crowd innovation », co-financing and co-creation as means that will highlight new skills and knowledge on one side and as a way for companies and government structures to get access to unvaluable resources to contribute to their own development and sustainability facing the globalization of the economy.

OUR CONVICTIONS

Internet communities are modifying the world economy. Not only in terms of ease of communication but also in terms of ecommerce, online work, new products and services creation.

Social networks are also a mean to link people together and to promote values like personal recognition. People on the web are seeking for a recognition of the social identity he/she builds there. Financial rewards are not always their most important motivation to participate in projects. This is a way for companies to regain a direct access to their consumers and users in order to better understand their needs and identify possible improvement tracks.

The social web is a true behavioral revolution for the consumers. This paradigm is just beginning now but will more and more influence companies and organizations. They will be forced to accept a different way of implementing their R&D, marketing, IT, finacial and communication processes because of the social networks impact on these activities.

Investing in social networks requires a global and strategic analysis from oragnizations regarding targets they want to reach in short and medium terms. This positionning impacts most activites and processes of a company which should understand risks and opportunities to get involevd in social web.

A BIT OF HISTORY…

Planetinnov wab created in February 2009 by Catherine Jean. Catherine owns a degree from ESSEC and is a member of the "Club des Jeunes Dirigeants". Originally, Planetinnov was an internet platform used to connect enterprises with needs related to innovation and potential individuals with corresponding skills.

To create awareness for our platfom we had to develop skills and techniques to identify and solicit targeted communities.

Moreover, our prospects asked us to broaden our offer into a global approach on how to solicit communities. So, we identify a number of tools and applications that were able to help us to automate the process in order to answer different needs.
